The objectives of the West Buckland Festival are to:

Provide music, art and entertainment for the purpose of enriching the lives of people in North Devon and raise monies for the upkeep of St Peter's Church, West Buckland and to provide additional funding for another Charity or Charities chosen by the Festival Committee each year.

In 2007 that Charity was the East Buckland and West Buckland Village Hall. In 2008 the Charity was the Children's Hospice - Little Bridge House, Fremington. In 2009 the Charity we supported was 'Help for Heroes'; a Charity formed to help those servicemen and women wounded in conflicts.

Last year (2010) we supported Shelter Box who respond instantly to natural and manmade disasters by delivering boxes of aid to those who are most in need. Each box supplies an extended family of up to 10 people with a tent and essential equipment to use while they are displaced or homeless.
